The Seattle Service Platoon operates in two of the most diverse communities of Seattle. The International District/Chinatown, situated next to the Port of Seattle, has been an important cultural and vibrant socio-economic gateway for generations of immigrants and refugees communities in the region. The Rainier Beach community situated in Southeast Seattle boasts the most diverse zip code in America. Grounded in asset-based community development's principals, our operations are taking action to foster high impact initiatives that improve neighborhoods in emerging communities.
