Come join the Portland 1st Platoon as it celebrates its community partnership with the Portland Community Tool Bank at Hammers and Ales 2017 Hammers & Ales will feature a mind-blowing silent auction, incredible live music, delicious food, and of course—superb Oregon beer! All proceeds benefit the ToolBank, the ONE nonprofit that serves all nonprofits and their missions who are building better communities. The Portland Community ToolBank is a not-for-profit tool lending program serving nonprofits by putting high-quality tools in the hands of the volunteers who are painting schools, repairing seniors’ roofs, landscaping public spaces, and more−guaranteeing that every volunteer is equipped with the tools they need to get the job done. For three pennies on the dollar, the Portland Community ToolBank provides fast and easy access to large volumes of high-quality tools to increase the impact of service projects and community revitalization efforts. Not only will you be supporting and attending an awesome event...but you will also have the opportunity to browse and get some ideas for our upcoming projects. NOTE: There will be NO walk-ups...you must pre-register. This is an over 21 event.

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
