United In Service - Encanto Park

Join Phoenix 1st Platoon for The Mission Continues United In Service campaign in remembrance September 11th as we serve alongside veterans and community members to enhance Encanto Park! This 222 acre “Enchanted” park consists of picnic areas, a lagoon, a boat house, swimming pool, nature trail, fishing, two golf courses and an amusement park. Our projects will consist of: putting together metal picnic tables, sanding and painting wood to drill and bolt to revitalize the older benches, remove tree debris from islands, painting over bathroom graffiti and other landscaping opportunities. Although we have a full day of projects and activities we will also make sure that we have an indoor area with water to help with the Phoenix temperatures. Both of our Phoenix Service Platoons as well as many other organizations and groups will be making an impact together. So come join the camaraderie and celebrate our community service in remembrance of September 11th.
