Work Party with Friends Of Disabled Veterans

August 02, 2020

06:30 AM - 12:30 PM PDT

Tri-Cities Platoon

Event overview

We are planting trees that will offer shade for Veterans and their families out at Friends of Disabled Veterans ranch. Lowe's of Pasco has generously donated 20 shade trees (8-15 feet tall) and in planters (20 inches across). Friends of Disabled Veterans has already dug the holes and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of these trees! Due to CDC and State guidance we are breaking this into 2 hour blocks and looking for 10 volunteers for each 2 hour block. You are more than welcome to stay for the duration. Schedule: 0630-0830 Meet at Lowe's in Pasco, load the trees, transit to Friends of Disabled Veterans and offload. 0830-1030 Ensure offload is complete, trees are placed near existing holes and commence planting. 1030-1230 Finish planting efforts and clean up.
