Over the duration of the past 2 weeks, we have seen protests taking place across the world in regard to the #BlackLivesMatter movement. As important as it is to peacefully demonstrate our displeasure of the inequality certain races still are facing in this country, it is also important to keep our green spaces clean. Join Houston’s 4th platoon as we ensure the integrity of Discovery Green was not compromised during the 60,000-man march that took place honoring the life of Houston legend, Mr. George Floyd. This will be our first in-person event since the COVID-19 outbreak therefore we will be practicing safety measures such as requiring PPE and staying at least 6ft. away from each other at all times. There will also be a designated sanitation area onsite. We will be meeting at the, "Synchronicity of Color" or art boxes located in the middle of the park. #CharlieMike
