During this unprecedented time, the Boston and Lowell Platoons are looking for creative ways to engage and serve. Memorial Day is such an important holiday in our country, and one that we want to observe. Please join the Boston and Lowell Platoons as we honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. We are asking that you go to your local cemetery during the week leading up to Memorial Day (May 18-24), and find the graves of veterans who have served and place a flag for remembrance. We will be providing the flags and can help you locate a cemetery if needed. This activity can be done with your family or on your own, and will allow you to honor those brave servicemen and servicewomen while still maintaining social distancing. To participate you will need to connect with Latashia (lwhite@missioncontinues.org) or Meagan (mcox@missioncontinues.org) to make arrangements to pick-up your bag of flags. You must be able to pick-up flags. This flag pick-up will also be contactless.
