Assemble Literacy Kits for Brilliant Detroit [Ongoing until 5-29]

Brilliant Detroit is dedicated to building kid success families and neighborhoods where families with children 0-8 have what they need to be school-ready, healthy, and stable. They do this by providing proven programming and support year round out of Brilliant Detroit hubs in high-need neighborhoods. Due to the current public health crisis, the learning hubs where Brilliant Detroit conducts its parent and caregiver support programming are temporarily closed. Simultaneously, parents and caregivers need more support than ever to ensure their families are safe, healthy, and learning. To continue to meet the needs of the community, Brilliant Detroit is calling for volunteers to help assemble hundreds of DIY literacy kits to support learning at home. This DIY project is the perfect volunteer activity to complete in the comfort and safety of your own home and will make a difference to a local Detroit family, and can be completed anytime!
