Earth Day Project

Join Houston 2nd Platoon as we celebrate Earth Day! We are hosting a How to Start Seeds at Home with a Gardening Starter Kit. Get your kids excited about gardening, and you’ll have a healthy, fun activity the whole family can enjoy. While your children help you plant seeds, and water plants they’ll learn where their food comes from and how to grow it themselves. They’ll also get some exercise in the fresh air and sunshine, while you’ll get some help with your flowers, herbs, and veggies. In support of our #RootedinService campaign Houston 2nd Platoon will deliver to registered families the following: (1) Professional Greenhouse with Plant label starter kit (3-6) variety herbs and/or flower seed packs (1) 8 inch Terra Cotta Clay Pot to transfer your growing plant or flower! Get outside and take lots of pictures of your kiddos, friends, and family gardening together!
