Garden reopening

May 16, 2020

09:00 AM - 01:00 PM EDT

Baltimore Platoon

Event overview

Join us this May to help city of refuge to reopen their garden. We will help them to finish putting together their green house and build additional garden beds. If time allows, we would also like to build a compost bin and do some area clean. This garden is an oasis in the South Baltimore area and we want to help the neighborhood to have access to green spaces and fresh food. We had started this project during our mass deployment last year and we want to finish the job. We hope to see you there.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
