Come out and help us prepare to blaze a trail with CarMax, Wasserman Foundation and The Portland Trail Blazers at the YMCA SE CHild Development Center. The YMCA Southeast Child Development Center (SCDC) is a facility which provides before and after school enrichment, day camps, early childhood development and adult and child art classes. Children who participate in SCDC’s safe, high-quality enrichment programs are more engaged in school, exhibit better behavior and achieve higher grades and test scores. With a focus on safety, health, social growth and academic enhancement, SCDC school enrichment programs help children learn to be their best selves. There is a lot of work that needs to be done prior to the project. This includes pressure washing, taping and cleaning up some areas. Without you helping with this part of the project, we will be unable to complete the project on the 11th. So I give you my deepest heartfelt thanks for coming out to this project.
