February 22, 2020

10:00 AM - 01:00 PM CST

Killeen Platoon

Event overview

Visit craft tables for hands-on crafts from recycled items. Watch a delightful fashion show with outfits made from at least 80% recycled items. Fashion show sponsored by Copperas Cove Five Hills Scholarship Pageant. Food trucks and vendors with food and items for purchase are available. Fun family time! We are looking for nonprofit booths and volunteers to work on those booths. The KCCB Eco Fling 2020 event features craft booths where children may craft items out of recycled items for free. Free popcorn and snow cones are also offered to participants. If you have further questions about this event, please contact kccb@copperascovetx.gov. For questions on registering for this event or any other TMC events, please contact the Killeen 1st Service Platoon Leader at amartinez@missioncontinues.org. We hope to see you there. Charlie Mike!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
