Join us and the Homewood community to cheer on all the marathon runners in the 2020 Pittsburgh Marathon! We'll be serving alongside our great mission partners at Operation Better Block and handing out water at mile marker 17.5 in Homewood. You will likely see a few familiar faces running through Homewood. Year after year, Homewood is often noted as having the best, largest, and loudest cheering section. Come be part of the fun and festivities.

Please check out the Pittsburgh Marathon site for all road closures and detours during the event. Please plan to arrive early so we ensure the water station has enough volunteers when the lead runners come through.

All ages are welcome! Meals will not be provided so please bring a snack or coffee.

Accessibility: we will be passing out water on the street so it should be largely accessible. There are porta-potties on site for the runners/spectators. In the past, they have not been accessible.

What To Wear :

You blue TMC shirt if you have one. We may be asked to wear official Pittsburgh Marathon Volunteer shirts. We will be outside so dress accordingly with the weather.

What To Bring :

Yourself, a snack, coffee, and layers.

Parking :

Please see the marathon website for road closures and detours. Free street parking is available in Homewood.

Inclement Weather Plan :

This is rain or shine. Please plan accordingly.
