LA3 TMC - Demo Day in South Central @ Sunnyside Baptist Church

Event overview

After producing the first of its kind green space and garden at Sunnyside Baptist Church our platoon is returning to help make more space for green space! Our day will start at 8AM to prep our site & we will kick off the rolling demolition work starting at 9AM. Feel free to drop in anytime you have time! We will have lunch on deck for our crew as well. Please also note our platoon will also be gathering goods to send to Puerto Rico in an effort to reinforce the Puerto Rico Platoon's work to help those effected by the earthquakes. Our goal will be to send a package or packages to Puerto Rico each time we receive donations from our volunteers. The supplies we are collecting include: - Soap - Detergent for washing clothes - Paper towels and toilet paper - Baby food - Plastic plates and silverware - blankets - batteries - baby and adult diapers - water - ensure - socks All volunteers can bring any of the above to this event and any events moving forward.
