Event overview

Our partner, Veteran Leadership Pittsburgh, hosts an incredible program where they provide temporary housing for transitional veterans. A veteran is moving out of VLP's transitional home and we are working to ensure it is in move-in ready condition for the next veteran moving in early in February. Stay tuned for further details and information. This is an adult only event; 18+. Accessibility Information: details TBD. Please inquire if you have specific questions.

Your blue TMC shirt if you have one. Otherwise, one will be provided. Tennis shoes or boots and pants.

What to Bring

Yourself and a willingness to work hard.

Inclement Weather

This event will be indoors so it is rain or shine. If a bad winter storm moves in, we will email all registered volunteers.

Parking Information

We will meet at the South Avenue United Methodist Church and walk from there. It is a short walk. There are metered spots but we will have quarters to help cover parking costs.

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
