Event overview

Join all 5 Houston Platoons for the National MLK Day 2020 Service Project! Veteran Retreat Center: Mission: The Mission of the VRC is to create, promote, and provide enrichment programs that will help stimulate and aid the mental and spiritual life of the veterans, their families, and the people in the surrounding communities. Project Scope: Landscaping Building Beautifying Painting Planting Maintenance Breakfast will be served at 8:30 am. Water, Gatorade, snacks, and lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Gloves and safety gear will be distributed. Kid-friendly event!

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
