Event overview

Florida's very first peer-led drop in and peer-led respite is coming to Orlando. Peer Support Space is developing a drop in/respite that will serve as a resource to individuals with mental health concerns and/or struggling with homelessness. TMC has offered to assist Peer Support Space in remodeling and improving the drop in/respite center. Peer Support Space was donated a home in Kissimmee, Florida in order to open and we are answering their call for help! TMC and Peer Support Space are still in the early phases of planning to determine the exact scope of work the project will entail, however, we are set to host a service project on Saturday - December 7, 2019. The service project will likely include painting, carpentry, cleaning, yardwork, and ofcourse FUN! Come out, get dirty, work hard, and most importantly have fun contributing to a great cause. DJ MUSIC AND FOOD!!!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
