Back in the Spring, The Harlem Platoon helped out the 134 ST Block Association in Hamilton Heights revitalize their neighborhood after they decided to make a change within their community. They were so happy with our help they have asked us to return!!!!!!
On 134 ST there is an empty lot that the block association has permission to build a beautiful garden space for the community to come together and celebrate, talk about local issues, and bring the community together as a whole.
But they need our help! Phase 1 of the event we will build 2 benches and some garden beds that the space will use in the Spring. The rest of the space will be completed in the Spring. Our work now will help start the garden space and begin to bring the community together to strengthen the bonds within that community.
So come join us as we make a difference in Hamilton Heights again!
