Operation Night Watch Round 3

November 16, 2019

10:30 AM - 05:00 PM PST

Portland Platoon

Event overview

FINALLY....THE MISSION CONTINUES.......HAS COME BACK......TO OPERATION NIGHT WATCH!!!!!! Operation Night Watch has been serving the homeless community throughout Portland for many years. They continue to feed and cloth the community on a weekly basis along with helping create access to medical services. They have selflessly served the community and now they need our help. On Saturday, November 16th we will be joining forces to continue to help set this amazing organization up for success. We will be clearing out the storage area, mounting a sign, replacing some lights and, as always, painting the area. We will also be building some shelving units to help them organize their gear in order to better serve the homeless population in the community. So throw your blue shirt on (or get one when you get there), come out and help to make a positive impact on your community and those who need help within it. We will also have a prep day on Saturday November 11th. Feel free to sign up for that project along with this one if you can.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
