Nearly Naked Ruck March

WHAT IS THIS ABOUT? Raise money to help Minneapolis veterans struggling with trauma live happier and healthier lives It costs $6,000 to send one veteran through our life-changing 14-week reconditioning program (23V Recon) - we send 12 veterans in each group Ruck or run the course Ruckers carry weight on your back to represent the weight many service members carry in the battle against combat stress Runners don't carry weight - we'll have a clock available to spot your finishing time Why Nearly Naked? We make this traditional military exercise more fun and patriotic! Wear long underwear or superhero costumes and ruck in chilly weather with the purpose of serving our heroes. THE RUNDOWN 8 AM registration, pick up shirts, enjoy a cup of coffee, and music 9 AM run step off 10: 40 AM program 11 am ruck step off Course is a 2.5 mile loop Ruck or Run up to 4 loops (10 miles), whatever is significant for you Every mile you'll be greeted by a warming station with friendly volunteers, water, snacks, hot beverages, and music! Dogs are welcome and will be well hydrated with their own "Dexter's LABoratory" watering station No charge for kids in strollers or rucksacks :) Ruckers sure to bring your own rucksacks, any style will do - or you can purchase a legit one from our partners at GORUCK by clicking this link (8% supports 23rd Veteran) If you aren't familiar with rucking, we recommend carrying a max of 20 lbs - for those more experienced, cap it at 50 lbs If you load your rucksack with canned goods and clothing, you can drop off at the finish line for local veterans in need.
