Service Project at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument

Limited slots available for this event! We will help Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument with essential seed collection and they will also give us a tour and small ranger-led program. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided. We are even offering a shuttle for anyone headed up from Colorado Springs. Either meet us at Rudy's BBQ for breakfast tacos at 0830 or meet us up at Florissant at 1000. 0830 - Colorado Springs volunteers meet at Rudy's BBQ for breakfast tacos 0900 - Volunteers shuttle up to Florissant 1000 - Arrive at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument and get trained up/get going on the seed collection 1200 - Break for lunch 1300 - a little more seed collecting 1400 - small ranger program and explore the National Monument 1500 - Round up to head back to the Springs 1600 - drop volunteers off at their cars at Rudy's BBQ Families are welcome! Kids 10 and up can participate in the seed collecting. Younger kids will do the Jr. Ranger Program and other activities.
