Celebrating Veterans Day with Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County

Event overview

Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans. On this Veterans Day 2019, the Tampa 1st Service Platoon invites you to join our veteran volunteers and community members for an impactful day of service with Habitat for Humanity Hillsborough County. We will be supporting with their Veterans Build Week to provide home preservation support for a deserving veteran named Tim Healy. We will be painting, landscaping, and doing fence repairs. This is an ages 16+ project, and we will have lunch and water onsite for volunteers. Come make a difference with us, and dedicate your service to honor those who have served!

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
