Perez Plaza is a small park featuring murals and mosaics that honor Manuel Perez Jr. who was, posthumously, awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in the battle of Luzon, Philippines Islands in February 1945, a month before he was killed in action. Perez Plaza is an important place for summer events in Little Village. We will be giving the plaza a deep cleaning to prepare for the warmer months .
