*******DATE CHANGE******** Due to the weather impacting the area, the Margate Fire Dept has been tasked to support potential relief efforts and we have coordinated to move the event to Saturday, Sept 21st. ********************************** As this year marks the 18th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 we will be joining forces with the great folks at Margate Coconut Creek Fire Rescue Station 98 and our great friends the Miami Dolphins #FootballUnites Special Teams for a special commemorative day of service in honor of 9/11. Veterans and first responders will work side by side to beautify the fire station. This is a family friendly day open to all, and music and food will be available. We will be building 5 boards that are used by the Fire Departments to track daily assignments at each station and 2 boards to be used by administrative offices. Additionally, we will be building 4 deck chairs Finally, we will be doing a little mulch work and paint touch up. For our young attendees, we will will have a craft table set up so they can participate. Food is being provided by our new friends at Station 98.
