On this year's commemoration of 9/11, we call on veterans to REPORT FOR DUTY at the Danny Woo Community Garden joining Seattle 2nd Service Platoon with an important operation: 1. Rebuilding a lookout area - that poses an incredible safety hazard for gardeners 2. Rebuilding a wooden handrail in the garden in partnership with Eagle Scouts Troop 254. Along with Scout Troop 254, we are going to need lots of great hands-on-deck (no pun intended) to make a powerful statement and impact for this community.
