Event overview

The Mission Continues Puerto Rico Service Platoon is partnering with Team Rubicon, Princeton University, UConn School of Social Work, Florida Gulf Coast University and the staff at Bosque Urbano de San Patricio on a service project to help restore and reopen this beautiful urban forest. It has been closed since being damaged during Hurricane Maria, so this is a great opportunity for volunteers to come together to make an impact on the island's natural environment. Following the project, we will be sharing a BBQ lunch together. Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
