The mission Continues 1st platoon has agreed to volunteer at the Anita May Rosenstein Campus Grand Opening Celebration we have already 11 veterans agreed to volunteer. we have room for more: Shifts available from as early a s 6:00AM- up to 10:00PM there will be windows you are assigned to according to your requested hours. Plan to come early to allow for time to find parking, check-in, pick up your shirt, get assigned for the day We ask that you PLEASE stay for your entire shift. This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT as we have you scheduled for a particular area and time; therefore, each shift has a direct impact on the volunteer team before them, after them or working alongside them, and we want to be sure that every volunteer has a pleasant experience for the entire day! Please be sure to CHECK IN and CHECK OUT at the Volunteer Check-In area at the Village – Room 137. Jeap Barradas from Volunteer Resources is the Volunteer Supervisor for the day! All volunteers are assigned to areas for all or part of their shift, and you are also considered FLOATERS – this is so that if there is an immediate need in another area – we can reassign volunteers as needed. We appreciate your flexibility. And remember, when in doubt… RETURN TO THE VOLUNTEER ROOM! Please be sure to wear sunscreen (we will have those at Volunteer check-in as well). Food: There will be food throughout the day in the volunteer room. We will make announcements for meals and breaks. Water will also be available … STAY HYDRATED!! If you have any specific dietary needs, or allergies, please plan accordingly. Staff volunteers and volunteers are not allowed to drink. “it is against policy to consume, or indulge in any alcohol/illicit or sense-impairing substances during your shift”. We want everyone to have a great time but in a safe, efficient and productive way, which is why we want to remind you of this. Most importantly: HAVE FUN!! There is a lot of work to be done, but a lot of fun to be had! THANK YOU!
