Join the Columbus 1st Platoon as they give back to one of their own during the 2019 Rebuilding a Healthy Neighborhood event led by ModCon Living!! In 2018, the platoon had the opportunity to home and garden work for Stan Griggs, a WWII veteran and this year, the platoon has an opportunity to do the same for Albert Gill, a Gulf War Veteran living in the Little Farms neighborhood of West Columbus. Activities for the day include tilling and seeding the yard, power-washing the house, painting inside and out and other smaller odds and ends to make sure he has a safe and healthy home to live in! These activities are all part of the larger Rebuilding a Healthy Neighborhood event taking place in Little Farms. The event will see 300-400 volunteers working on 15+ houses in the same area on the same day. Don't miss this opportunity!! NOTE: Minors should be at least 14 years old to volunteer. In addition to registering with us, please register ahead of time ModCon Living at: http://modconliving.civicore.com To register, fill out a new volunteer application found on the left side of the page.
