Houston Food Bank with The Astros Foundation

The Houston Food Bank requires all volunteers to sign a waiver. After you register online, you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code that you can use to scan in that day. If you arrive after the start of your shift, you may have to wait up to 30 minutes for orientation and assignment. Description of Duties: Varies with the makeup volunteers for the shift. Most of the projects at the warehouse involve inspection, sorting, and repackaging of donated food items for community distribution. Attire Information: Closed-toe shoes REQUIRED. Casual dress, long pants (preferred), t-shirt with sleeves. You will receive your Astros Foundation t-shirt on site.
