In honor of Women's History Month, the Lowell 1st Service Platoon has organized a women-led day of service supporting Mill City Grows. Mill City Grows is a non-profit organization founded by two awesome women, and focused on fostering food justice by improving physical health, economic independence and environmental sustainability in Lowell through increased access to land, locally-grown food and education. We are proud to be one of their partners!

On Saturday, March 16th we will continue with phase 2 of Mill City Grows office renovation with painting, laying down new flooring, light carpentry work, packing/organizing, and more! All of our projects will be women-led, but the service day is open to both women and men.
This project is for ages 10+, and lunch will be provided.
