Special Event

Run As One

April 13, 2019

09:00 AM - 12:00 PM MDT

Boise Platoon

Event overview

Run As One is a unique engagement opportunity, where members of Team Red, White & Blue, Team Rubicon, and The Mission Continues, along with members of their community and veteran supporters come together for a day of solidarity to showcase how exercise, community, and inclusivity combine to combat mental health challenges. This year, the Treasure Valley will join together in remembrance of Clay Hunt, an original member of Team Rubicon, who took his own life after battling PTSD and depression. In his spirit, we will be completing a 2 mile run followed by a service project at McMillan Elementary School. We know shared purpose and hard work towards a common goal builds healthier veterans and stronger communities, so run (and serve) together, Run As One! Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
