Event overview

We kick off Chicago Warrior Week with a service project in Little Village. Starting this year, Chicago 2nd Service Platoon began Operation Little Village, a multi-year plan to support the organizations operating in the area that focus on youth, gang violence, education and hunger. We will be working at multiple locations, within walking distance of the meeting location, Universidad Popular. Partners like Universidad Popular, Enlace and Beyond the Ball will be hosting volunteers. If you have a group of people who are interested in the event, please have each adult sign up individually.

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
