Event overview

The Mission Continues Miami Service Platoon, in partnership with Miami Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces, will come together for an impactful day of service at Seminole Wayside Park. Nestled on 28 acres of pine rockland and nature preserve, Seminole Wayside Park is home to several endangered and native plants and species, and is one of the first-ever parks opened in Miami-Dade County. This family-friendly project will include: - Planting native species and trees - Evasive species removal - Building benches and trail markers - Painting We will have a DJ on site and lunch and plenty of cold water will be available for all volunteers who join us. To help us keep an accurate count for food and water, PLEASE register for yourself and any other volunteers you plan to bring. Charlie Mike!
