Le Grande community gardens is a space utilized by many non-English speaking elders that rely on their independence to produce foods familiar to them. This garden space is wonderful and in need of our help. Our goal for this project is to replace 4-8 garden beds and install gopher deterrent methods. We will be demolishing old garden beds, building new ones, and filling the new beds with soil.
