Puerto Rico Platoon

Event overview

The Mission Continues Puerto Rico Service Platoon will be working with youth at ASSMCA in Bayamon on an art project called Stars of Hope. La Administración de Servicios de Salud Mental y Contra la Adicción (ASSMCA) was created in 1993 to help youth and adults dealing with mental health issues and addiction. Come join us for this impactful opportunity to support youth on their journey to recovery and health. If you plan to attend, it is important that you reach out to Platoon Leader Frankie Perez (fperez@missioncontinues.org), so he can share your information to get you cleared through ASSMCA to attend the event. We look forward to seeing you there!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
