Event overview

Gift-a-Vet is the holiday gift giving program for Veterans being served by New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) in Boston. NECHV serves over 1,000 Veterans annually. Gift-a-Vet coordinates holiday gifts for transitional residents and their children, as well as Veterans in the permanent on-site living spaces, and Veteran families served by the Supportive Services for Veteran Families program. The Mission Continues Boston 1st Platoon will support NECHV with their Gift-a-Vet program on Saturday, Dec. 15th between 9AM-6PM. We will be helping to accept, sort, and distribute gifts to deserving veterans and their families. We will have (3) shifts and with a max of (5) adults for each shift. Ages 18+ only. The breakdown of shifts is: 9am-12pm, 12pm-3pm, and 3pm-6pm. When you register, please pick list which session you can support.

NECHV is located downtown in the heart of the city. Street parking. It is very close to the Government Center and State Street T-stations.

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
