UPDATE 11/17 6:50AM: Online registration is closed but you're still able to show up to the event a register onsite. This Veterans Day, the New York City Platoons are heading to Mosaic Prep Academy, in East Harlem, to participate in a large day of service geared towards revitalizing the school so that it is a safe and optimizes students learning experience. We have 11 different project tasks for this year's service project. Tasks include painting the auditorium, building two reading lofts, building three bookshelves, building two modified kids planter benches, building raised garden beds, demolishing unusable garden beds and benches, building a mobile chalkboard, painting two classrooms, and demolishing two unusable pianos. Here's the Run of Show for Saturday so that you're aware of everything that's going to happen: 10:30 am - Registration Opens 11:00 am - 11:15 am - Opening Remarks in auditorium 11:15 am - 11:30 am - Break out into project teams 11:30 am - 1:00 pm - Service project! 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm - Lunch 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm - Continue service project! 2:30 pm - 2:45 pm - Gather in auditorium for closing remarks 2:45 pm - 3:00 pm - Closing Remarks/Volunteers Depart We're looking forward to seeing you there!

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
