Painting with a Twist!

March 27, 2018

07:30 PM - 09:30 PM EDT

Detroit Platoon

Event overview

It's time to get together, have a nice, relaxing night in, and discover our inner artists! For anyone who hasn't done Painting with a Twist, it's fun for all ability levels and is a great social event. I've chosen a gender-neutral, Michigan-themed painting that should work with any decor. The event is BYOB, so bring your favorite wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage. I'll also have some light refreshments available, since this may be during dinner time. Painting begins at 7:30 sharp, and you can arrive as early as 7pm. Our party is in Loft A, and this is the link for the painting: https://www.paintingwithatwist.com/studio/ferndale/event/1526876/

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
