Snow Inner Tubing at New England Sports Park

February 24, 2018

11:30 AM - 03:00 PM EST

Boston Platoon

Event overview

Come join the Lowell Platoon for some winter fun snow tubing at New England Sports Park. This event is free for those who sign up online. We have 20 tickets for snow tubing, so please be thoughtful when signing up additional people because we want to be able to include as many platoon members as possible. The New England Sports Park is a place like no other. The park boasts the steepest and fastest snow tubing hill in New England and offers 6 lanes for snow tubing. There are currently 400 tubes that can be operated when the park is at full capacity. Two lifts service the hill - a conveyor belt lift that guests stand on and an old fashioned handle tow lift that allows riders to sit in their tube as they are pulled up to the top of the hill. Once at the top of the hill, guests are permitted to link up in groups and slide down together or ride solo. There is an onsite restaurant and bar (Crossbar Pub) which offers traditional pub fare including pizza, burgers, salads, appetizers, hot chocolate, cold beer and more. Snow Tubing from 12:00pm - 2:00pm Social 2:00pm - 3:00pm at Crossbar Pub with free appetizers

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
