Event overview

The year 2018 will reign supreme as one of the greatest years in the history of San Antonio! Not only is it the 300th year since the birth of San Antonio but it is also the 25th Anniversary of the Alamodome! To celebrate, The Mission Continues is joining SA Antonio Sports and NCAA Final Four in honoring this city's legacy by showing visitors how much we love the place we call home. We’re calling all veterans and non-veterans to report for duty in your community on February 17, 2018, to revitalize and beautify our beloved Alamodome. Volunteers will: - Community landscaping and planting in open spaces around the dome - Painting and touching up various areas indoors and outdoors of the facility - Pressure washing and removing debris from facility grounds CALL TO ACTION: We have a goal of 300 volunteers in tribute to each year this city has flourished! Help us reach that goal by recruiting near and far! Can you get a team or a large group together!? All are welcome!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
