The Tacoma 1st Platoon is teaming up with our friends over at the Odd Otter Brewing Company to host a monthly Social for all platoon members, veteran service organizations, and those who are interested in learning more about the above.
Platoon Members - This is an awesome opportunity to find out what's on the calendar for TMC.
VSO's - What a great way to reach out to our Veteran community and share what your org has on the plate.
Socials will be held monthly, on the third Tuesday of every month, from 6-8 PM, and guess what, the Odd Otter hosts Karaoke immediately afterwards...so feel free to stick around after the event.
The Odd Otter is a Veteran-owned, local brewing company, where 4 out of 7 bartenders on staff are veterans. And to top it all off, veterans, their spouses and first responders get 15% off everything...so there's really no reason for you to skip it.
Hopefully we will see you out there, as we celebrate TMC's accomplishments, highlight upcoming events, see what other VSOs have on tap, and share a beverage with our Brothers and Sisters.
What To Wear :
Casual...but please, no TMC gear if drinking
What To Bring :
A great attitude...and VSOs, feel free to bring material to pass out
Inclement Weather Plan :
None...we're indoors where it's warm
Certain host organizations, such as schools, may prohibit volunteers with certain types of criminal convictions from participating in a service project. Accordingly, The Mission Continues is requesting your consent to conduct a criminal background check in the event that your Platoon is engaging in a service project with a host organization that requires a criminal background check. By checking the box below, you authorize The Mission Continues to conduct a criminal background check.
If such a background check is required, it will be completed and used in accordance with applicable law. The Mission Continues does not automatically disqualify persons from Platoons based on criminal convictions. We want as many people as possible to have the opportunity to move forward in their lives through service, at the same time that we seek to protect the communities we serve together.
