Event overview

No family is expected to attend the funeral of Army veteran Specialist Hugh Gary Bryan, and the veterans cemetery in Killeen is asking those in the veterans community to participate. Veteran Bryan will be buried with military honors at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 State Highway 195, at 11 A.M. CST on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019. The Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery's staff and officials invite all who wish to attend the military burial for Mr. Hugh Gary Bryan, a United States Army Veteran. Mr. Bryan served in the Army from June 20, 1955 to May 10, 1961. No veteran should be buried alone, especially in Central Texas. TMC volunteers will participate in the official interment ceremony, direct traffic in and out of the cemetery, and provide clean-up support to the staff for the duration of the service or as needed. The platoon leader will offer refreshments to our volunteers.

Other veterans and volunteers who are willing to pay tribute to the honorable service of our fallen brother in arms.

Inclement Weather

In the case of inclement weather, the Platoon Leader will receive information from the Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery's staff/official for further instructions to proceed or a possible postponement.
