Join us for our second adventure serving at the People's Garden as we celebrate Juneteenth. On the agenda will be PPH-Prepping, Planting and Harvesting and any specific projects/tasks that need accomplished. Plus, there's always a topic of the day in the Opening and Closing Talking Circles that generate dialogue and contemplation. DJ Roosevelt will be playing music to make it a festive atmosphere. The Mission Continues believes in the power of every individual to make a difference. If you're passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact, we invite you to join us. From hands-on tasks to behind-the-scenes roles, there's something for everyone. No matter your physical capabilities, there's a place for you in our service projects. Together, let's build a more inclusive and compassionate world. Water, gloves and sunscreen will be provided. The garden is on the north side of the school. Enter the parking lot toward the east end through the double gates. You'll see the basketball court in front of you. We will meet at the garden. There is a restroom on site.
