This April, The Mission Continues invites you to celebrate Earth Month by joining the Earth Month: Rooted in Service campaign! It's a time to take action, honor our planet, and uplift communities through veteran-led service projects. We are going back to Furtick Farms, to assist with spring up, planting 30 trees and building ADA planters.
Furtick Farms offers events and classes for adults and children to learn to use their "green thumb". It's run by Green City Teachers, an organization of Philadelphia school teachers that wants to teach the youth to obtain sustainable food resources. We are proud to get our hands dirty, clean up, build some planters and continue our relationship with Furtick Farms.
See you out there!
