Join the Houston Platoon on September 21st for a day of service and unity at Mykawa Farms as we honor the lives lost and the sacrifices made on that day. This project is about more than giving back, it’s a chance to come together as a community.
What We’ll Do:
Clear five feet of brush
Move a large amount of mulch
Replace shade sails
Repair roof panels on a gazebo damaged by the hurricane
Construct a frame for a handwashing station
Wood chipping
Install a flagpole and more!
This is just phase one of our project leading up to Veterans Day on November 16th.
Why Participate?
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, reflect on the significance of 9/11, and make a lasting impact in our community. Whether you’re a veteran, a family member, or a dedicated community member, your involvement matters.
Together, we can honor the past and build a stronger, more connected Houston.
Don’t miss this chance to be part of something truly special!
