This project will offer support to a local, urban community garden in The Hill District called Peace and Friendship Farm. It’s veteran ran and meant to offer a space of solace, learning, and camaraderie. Food insecurity and homelessness is a concern amongst veterans and the community of the Hill District. Kent Bey fights both of those and is a beacon in his communities through his various partnerships to combat both.
