Join us as we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Junior's legacy with a day of service. This year we are partnering with the Tiger Mountain Foundation at The Garden of Tomorrow. Few events show the true meaning of selfless service more than the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service projects. This year is no different, and our dedicated veteran-led volunteer force is prepared to deploy into under-resourced communities across the country in honor of MLK's Legacy of Service. Our veterans, volunteers, and community partners need you to join them in these communities more than ever. Come out and volunteer in the community to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's legacy with a day of service! Specific tasks are still being determined. We may prep, plant and harvest. A central feature of Tiger Mountain Foundation projects is the talking circle where volunteers have the opportunity to participate in thoughtful and meaningful dialogue while celebrating the life of Dr. King. There are no restrooms on-site, but volunteers can use the restroom next door. The garden staff advises going in pairs. There is no drinking water source on site but drinking water will be provided. Lunch will be provided.
