Event Description: The SAFB Urban Farm is the largest urban agriculture initiative within the city of San Antonio with a unique mission. We want to grow as much food as possible for our community while empowering clients, school kids, volunteers, and anyone else who wants to learn more about growing food at home with skills they need to do so. So what can you expect when you volunteer? Our volunteers may work in and between the garden, orchard, or farm during a shift. Tasks will vary seasonally but our volunteers most frequently aid in planting, transplanting, harvesting, weeding, and mulching. Volunteer sessions may be canceled in the event of extreme weather. Should a cancellation occur, you will be notified via email 24 hours in advance. Ensure to arrive 30 minutes early to register with the Food Bank
