Event overview

Come help us prepare Baltimore Montessori for the new school year!

Join us for a day of community service as we get the school ready for a fresh start. We'll be working together to create a clean, safe, and beautiful environment for the students.

Here's what we'll be doing:

Mulching the playground: Spread fresh mulch to provide a soft, safe surface for the children to play on.

Weed whacking the tree wells: Clear out the overgrown weeds around the trees to keep them healthy and looking tidy.

Sweeping the sidewalks: Make the walkways around the school neat and clean for everyone.

Picking up trash and cleaning up rotting fruit: Remove litter and fallen fruit to maintain a clean and pleasant outdoor area.

Wiping down playground equipment: Ensure all play structures are clean and ready for the kids to enjoy.

Raking the sandbox: Smooth out the sand to make the sandbox inviting and fun.

Weeding the student garden: Remove weeds to help the plants in the garden thrive.

Harvesting ripe vegetables: Gather fresh produce from the garden for the students to enjoy.

Your efforts will make a significant difference in creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for the students at Baltimore Montessori. We appreciate your support and can't wait to see you there!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
