Come out and serve with us as we work alongside our community partners, schools, students, and families to inspire future generations through social events, support projects, and service projects.

Denver 1st currently works primarily with Crawford Community Center which offers space for community programming, meetings, and a variety of community uses for youth, students, and adults in the Original Aurora corridor and within a 20-block radius of the Center. Many of the residents of this area are considered community members with unique needs due to their diverse cultural backgrounds, incomes, and family structures. All programming is offered free of charge and offered in partnership with CCC. These programs include, but are not limited to: health programs, cooking classes, refugee services, parenting skills, physical activity clubs, tutoring, mentoring, and more. Most of the population served includes English Language Learners.

Denver 1st has built storage sheds for sports equipment for the after school programs, gardens for use by students and families, and will host a community dinner for 100s in September.

Throughout the year, 1st Platoon completes socials and projects throughout the Denver area. Please check our Platoon page regularly to see the latest upcoming events.
