The post 9/11 generation includes the highest generation of women veterans in American history, and The Mission Continues is proud of the high engagement rate of our women veterans in our platoons and programs.

March is International Women's Month and is the perfect time to celebrate the impact and contribution of our female members by hosting a Her Mission project at Thistle Farms in Nashville.

Thistle Farms is a nonprofit social enterprise, based in Nashville, TN, dedicated to helping women survivors recover and heal from trafficking, prostitution, and addiction. They provide a safe place to live, a meaningful job, and a lifelong sisterhood of support because they believe love is the most powerful force in the world.

Come out to support the sisterhood and soak in the mutual empowerment during this event that will include a tour of Thistle Farms, a meditation/circle session with residents and community members, and contributing a little of our own sweat equity into their enterprise!

Join us after the mission is complete for lunch provided by The Mission Continues at the cafe on site that is one of the key components of the service Thistle Farms provides.

While Her Mission is aimed at supporting and honoring our female veterans, all are welcome to attend this event!
